Send Town Shorttrack Starting Soon

The Send Town Shorttrack races at New Belgium Brewing have been responsible for introducing hundreds, ney, thousands of people to mountain bike racing since they started over a dozen years ago. The energetic and welcoming atmosphere, low cost of entry, and rowdy racing are always a good time. The beer garden and food trucks round out the FoCo vibe. The racing takes place on Tuesday nights. Get there early for the free kid’s races.

2022 NoCo Criterium Results and Photos

Of the 245 finishers from the NoCo Criterium held on Saturday, 44 were from the Northern Colorado area. 16 of those racers went inside the top five. Brad Wright, Michael Ortega, and Phillip Merrill took wins in their respective categories.

2022 Cobb Lake and Oval Results and Photos

The CSU race weekend took place this past Saturday and Sunday in near-perfect conditions. There were 369 starters and 296 finishers at Cobb Lake. The Oval Criterium, which was held on a different course than usual due to construction, had 199 starters and 173 finishers.

2022 OMBA Season Kickoff Party

Overland Mountain Bike Association is hosting a season kickoff party on April 26 at Road 34 Bike Shop & Tavern from 6PM to 9PM. Come out and chat with OMBA’s finest volunteers and get stoked for spring riding!

Cross of the North

Cross of the North is a USAC sanctioned cyclocross weekend promoted by the 1st City Cycling Team and held on the New Belgium Brewing campus. With its festival-like atmosphere and national-caliber course, it is widely considered to be the best weekend of racing in the region. The races usually take place in mid-November.

Borderlands Gravel

Time: All Season @ Saturday AM & Tuesday PM
Pace: Conversational Pace
Twice a week gravel group rides and good company. Join us at rotating starting points around town for some rowdy rides and raucous times exploring our NoCo gravel.

Rio-Covery Ride

Time: May-August @ Monday PM
Pace: Recovery Pace
These are great ways to spin the legs out and exchange war stories after a hard weekend of racing. Be sure to head back to the afterward Rio for a world-famous recovery marg.

TTH

Time: All Season @ Tuesday & Thursday AM
Pace: Race Pace-A
One of the hardest mid-day, mid-week group rides you're going to find in the state. It's not uncommon to find pros and Nationally ranked Masters on this ride.

Worlds

Time: March-September @Wednesday PM
Pace: Race Pace- A
If you're competitive in the 1s, 2s, 3s or a 4 looking to learn from faster riders, this is the ride for you. The pace is similar to TTH but the courses are longer. In 2020 a new start location was added along with more courses and a new format.

WOR

Time: March-September @Wednesday PM
Pace: Race Pace- B+/B
Similar to SOR this is a great alternative to Wednesday Worlds. Great courses and well organized.

The Oval

Time: November-April @ Saturday AM
Pace: Race Race Pace- A
The legendary Oval...a great race pace group ride that has been instrumental in developing race fitness and teaching 1000s of cyclists how to suffer on the bike.

Send Town Cyclocross

Time of Year: Fall
The Send Town Cyclocross races are a Fort Collins institution. The races take on place the New Belgium Brewing campus on Tuesday nights each Fall with hundreds of people taking part. The kid's races are very popular with the littles. Be sure to check out the beer garden and food trucks. Online registration is required.

Crazy Joe Cross

Event Type: Cyclocross Series
Time of Year: Fall
CJCX is a free cyclocross training series that takes place midweek in Sept/Oct. They're more group ride than race and are the dusty highlight to many racers CX season. For the past several years we've been lucky enough to run these at the Bush Acres course at Ronny Alli Bush's place. They're super lowkey and open to all people and bikes. 

Steamboat Primer Time Trial

Time of Year: Late September
The Steamboat Primer Time Trial will take place the weekend before the USAC sanctioned Steamboat Stage Race which is usually Labor Day weekend. This is your last race pace opportunity to dial in your time trial bike, position, and fitness before the big dance. Not racing Steamboat? No problem, come out anyway.

City Streets Criterium Series

Time of Year: June and July
The City Streets Crits are a low-cost, mid-week, grassroots, criterium series that takes place in mid-summer. They are hosted by the First City Cycling Team and take place at the Fort Collins City Streets Maintenance Facility. They are open to all ages, abilities, and genders. The City Streets Crits cost $15.00.
