Dispatch: Stem & Bar Caps

Custom stem and bar end caps for bicycles are Dispatch Custom Cycling Component’s core product. They are offered in a dozen cap and bolt colors that can be mixed and matched, featuring dozens of different stock and custom artwork etched onto them, creating thousands of combinations. After photographing many of these caps one-at-a-time, it quickly became apparent that a template-based mockup would be far more efficient and repeatable for the client. I photographed the four different styles of caps in a single color each, and then built Photshop templates to enable any bolt color, cap color, and artwork combination. This process was duplicated for the cap-only images on a white background for e-commerce and SEO shopping. This setup allows Dispatch to easily produce accurate images of nearly any combination without having to setup the photo studio each time.
